Head In The Clouds / “Estar En Las Nubes” / “احلام اليقظة”

Adovella, a dish that combines Adobo and Paella, with assorted toppings.

'How much wiser it is to be a dreamer tethered down to reality, than a contented soul lost in the illusion of perfection.'

Head In The Clouds is a reflection of Abbie’s penchant for redeeming well-known idioms usually associated with negative undertones.

She is the Sandman, who accompanies seekers through a dreamlike sequence across the turntable of constellations and the attributes they represent. The seekers’ choices within their moment of introspection leads to the final outcome of their journey and produces the finished magic, that is, their personal version of the Adovella.

Head In The Clouds is a play on context and perspective. Perspective holds such power that it can turn tables around. Context influences interpretation or understanding. Together they are the magic that enables individuals to freely be as they are and pursue their passions, no holds barred.

About Abbie Franchette

Abbie, a fervent explorer of artistic realms, is passionately devoted to her quest for self-expression and liberation through her diverse crafts. With a multicultural background in Dubai, she presents herself as a hearty minestrone soup—a diverse blend of various elements. As a musician, painter, and photographer, she manifests musicality and movement as a trademark in all of her work.

Identifying as a Jill-of-all-trades, a modern renaissance woman, Abbie's approach to her crafts is a testament to the era of multi-specialization. Having studied art, fashion, business management, and digital marketing at prestigious institutions like Parsons New York and Emirates Aviation University, her artistic flair has earned her recognition from esteemed platforms such as National Geographic Arabia, Dubai Tourism, Gulf Photo Plus, and the Dubai Food Festival.

Creativity is Abbie's lifeline, extending to her free time activities of writing poems and composing for her musical duo, A2.
